Landscapes of soul, broken pieces of memory buried in lost dreams, covered with the dust of oblivion. The limits between the reality and the imagination are lost as it happens in dreams. There, the rational and peculiar co-exist, the certainly of senses with hallucination. Creations of imagination that makes images in dark and hears sounds in silence. You travel looking for “landscapes” of lost dreams. However, it’s difficult to find again the routes you followed in this due course. In any case it wasn’t straight. What you discover is unsuited with what you have in mind as given. What is real ?  Finally, an image has to do less with the real situation it describes and more with the way you interpret it subjectively.

Tasso Chios was born in Athens and brought up in Poros, Trizinia. He studied Social Sciences in Panteio Univercity of Athens and has got a degree in Sociology. He has been living in Thessaloniki since 1991.

He has been engaged in photography since 1984. He held two personal photo exhibitions and took part in group photo exhibitions which were held in the context of photo competitions as well as in the  group exhibition of “clickers” , the photography team. He took part in competitions of photography in which he was awarded with some distinctions such as prizes, praises, hanging ups. In 2010 he was taken part in the group exhibition in the context of Photobiennale which is organized by the Photo Museum of Thessaloniki.
