"Urban abstraction"

On the photographical search the sight and the aesthetics of the buildings are a challenge and become the reason for new ideas, which through abstraction, the particular angle of shooting and the unique lighting each time are printed on the photography.

The original idea is transformed into material, the material inspires a new idea and the same material turns out to be transformed into something else, entirely different.

Anastasia Michailoglu was born in 1964 in Ano Vrontou, Serres.

At the age of four she went to Germany , she came back to Greece in 1997 and from 2000 she lives constantly in Thessaloniki , Greece . She is a German teacher.

She works on photography the last ten years and she is a member of photography group “Fotoporoi”.

She is an editor in chief assistant, public relation executive, translator and writer in the photographic magazine “Photographico Eidolo”.

She had five solo exhibitions and has taken part in fourteen group exhibitions.
