"Rusted
Trains" Athanasiadis
Antony 1-30 November Time
is a factor of everyone’s life, even of an object’s life. Time never
forgets and this is why neither the rusted trains can be forgotten by
time. The mystery that is hid behind these trains and the idea that
someday in the past, there were people in them, made us have the willing
of watching them through the lens. A photograph may give sense to
something that thought to be meaningless and make the person looking at it
travel back in time. Moreover, a photograph may be the reason for thoughts
about a hidden truth, existing in our midst, but we are unable to see it.
A train’s life is the same as a person’s life, meaning that at the
beginning when it’s new, is also useful and welcomed by others, but with
the passing of time becomes old and forgotten in time.
