They could be 'Urban Legends", but they are not. Photography alone, reports pieces of space and time in an 'as is' basis. As it was. The media validates the legend.

The ancient Greeks were going down to Hades (the underworld) walking backwards, facing their past. Past is given, present is happening all the time, the future uncertain.

In these photos you might see extraordinary moments. Are they though?

Everyday people, usual conditions, downtown, in any town. We pass by in a hurry and we don't take any notice. It is not important to us. We have no reason to care.

They do though give the point of the life quality in this town. Any town. This is how we live. In these conditions. This is who we are.

Born on Feb 26 1963 in Istanbul of Greek parents

Grew up in Perissos, Athens , Greece .

Currently living and working in Rafina, Attica and Karystos, Evia island, Greece

I actually started taking photographs before I studied the art.

It was, is, and hopefully will be an internal matter.

Always feeling calm with a photo-camera in my hand.

Knew what to do, how, when and even why.

Part of myself for a long time now.

No division. Professionally and personally.
