Inside the intensity of light, I seeked the darkness of a shadow that stretches into space.

Inside the darkness of the night, I searched for light that passes through it’s density, making new darkness from the shadows it creates…

On one hand, the objective truth of light…on the other, the imaginary story of a shadow.

A timeless contrast between the two opposite, but totally interdepending elements that defy the world of photography itself…

Maria Daskalaki was born in 1978 in Thessaloniki .

She is a professional decorator and an amateur photographer.

She took part in one group exhibition and she is member of the Ηotpixel photogroup.
